Changes at Aliza Shandel

I feel like my blog has sort of lost its way a little bit. I’ve been avoiding it almost because I’m so backed up with posts, and it just feels daunting and overwhelming rather than fun. So I thought about what it was I really wanted to share and write about. I love books, so that’s not going to go away–there will still be Top Ten Tuesday posts (because they’re so much fun to write), and I’ll still do baking posts because even though they’re a lot of work, they’re still super fun. I may scale back on those to every other week as a more doable goal (though any number is better than what I’ve been doing…).

But I really want to refocus on sharing my calligraphy and craft posts because I love doing that too. And I think I’ll be sharing more about my favorite natural products and DIYs as well as travel stuff and whatever else I can cook up, like a weekly roundup.

Really there’s not that much change coming, except that I won’t be updating the book review portion. I just don’t enjoy doing them as much and by now I’m so behind I just don’t even want to think about it. Instead, I created a page (which you can see at the top bar), and I will update that with the books I’ve read and who I would recommend them to. Other books will get mentioned in TTT posts.

Anyway, I hope this isn’t disappointing to anyone, but I don’t want to avoid blogging because of my book review backlog! And I have more things to share with you!

I’ll be talking to you soon.

Wishing you all the best,

Allison

I thoroughly enjoy anything and everything you share. Granted I may be slightly biased but that being said I wanted to give you kudos on keeping up with your blog as well as you have and do. I know how busy your life is. My favorites things of all you do are your recipes and your crafts. They are right up my alley. I love your list of books and their descriptions. You are very talented.
